Brandon Garcilazo is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Tobacco Road Partners where he is active in all day-to-day activities and investment decisions. He is an experienced advisor to, investor in, and operator of businesses across several industries. Most recently, Brandon was the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Planning at Swiss Watch International ("SWI"), a private equity portfolio company of Clearlake Capital. In this role, Brandon oversaw all strategy, financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities for the Company. Prior to SWI, Brandon was an Associate at McKinsey & Company, where he drove high-impact results for public and private sector clients in the healthcare, infrastructure, travel, and consumer industries. Previously, Brandon was an Associate at H.I.G. Capital, where he evaluated and completed middle market private equity investments, and he began his career at J.P. Morgan Investment Bank in New York City, where he advised clients in the consumer, healthcare, and retail spaces on debt, equity, and M&A transactions. Brandon holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BSE in Electrical + Computer Engineering from Duke University.
Keith Laabs is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Tobacco Road Partners where he is active in all day-to-day activities and investment decisions. He has significant strategic leadership experience across management consulting and high-growth companies. Most recently, Keith acted as the Chief of Staff and Interim Chief Financial Officer at Rubicon Global, a cloud-based waste solutions provider named to Forbes’ 2016 list of “Next Billion Dollar Startups.” Prior to Rubicon, Keith spent several years as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and Bain & Company. While a consultant, he was classically trained and led engagements on acquisition and merger management as well as on corporate/growth, go-to-market, and portfolio strategy. Keith also has experience at The Coca-Cola Company and Stanford Athletics. Keith holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS in Psychology from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
